Nicolas began his career in the substance abuse field over a decade ago as a Behavioral Health Technician, where his hands-on work with patients gave him a deep understanding of the treatment process from the ground up. He later transitioned into admissions, where he played a key role in building and strengthening multiple program departments, ensuring both patients and providers experienced a seamless process. His dedication and leadership ultimately led him to his current role as Chief Operating Officer of American BEST Health.

Nicolas grew up in Williamsburg, Virginia, and after college began his professional journey while navigating his own struggles with substance abuse. His recovery, which began on April 15, 2014, inspired him to devote his life to helping others find the same freedom. He is committed to ensuring patients, families, and partners receive compassionate, effective, and life-saving care.
